See here how to create a basic page for your website. The starting point for any project.

In the main administrative menu, go to Content → Add content → Basic Page (Section). After you have filled in the fields accordingly and added the appropriate paragraph types you can preview the result (right next to the save button in the up right corner). 

Hint: Do not forget to save your progress. Once your page is ready for your customers, activate the button Content is live. As long as this button is disabled, only you and logged in users will be able to see the page.
