Get to know the Block Layout function in picturemaxx Drupal CMS:

The Block Layout function is a powerful tool that lets you place and manage blocks – small pieces of content – within defined regions of your site’s theme. Think of it as a way to control what shows up where on your pages.

  • Blocks: These are chunks of content – like menus, search bars or forms – that you can place in different parts of your site.
  • Regions: These are predefined areas in your theme (like header, doormat, footer, content area) where blocks can be displayed.
  • Block Layout Page: Found under Structure → Block layout, this page gives you an overview of all available regions and what blocks are currently assigned to them.
  • Visibility Conditions: You can control when and where blocks appear based on paths (URLs), content types, roles, or languages.
